El consumo de oxigeno se determina por tecnica manometrica. Con objeto de identificar los distintos tipos de receptores se emplean algunos antagonistas como fenoxibenzamina  oxprenolol y haloperidol. Ninguno de los farmacos estudiados con excepcion de tiramina modifican el consumo de oxigeno de homogeneizado de cerebro de rata in vitro  adrenalina  dopamina  anfetamina e isoproterenol incrementan el consumo de oxigeno de cortes de cerebro de rata in vitro  siendo este efecto abolido por los agentes bloqueantes de receptores alfa  beta y dopaminergicos. Se discuten los resultados obtenidos y se interpreta el incremento de consumo de oxigeno como debido a activacion de la atp-asa de membrana sodio-potasio dependiente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
