<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este estudio sobre la microsporogenesis de las subespecies monoica y dioica de ecballium elaterium  se comprueba que ambas subespecies tienen un mismo cariotipo que se compone de 4 pares de cromosomas grandes  3 medianos y 2 peque\u00f1os  todos ellos metacentricos o submetacentricos y que en la microsporogenesis de los machos en particular  no hay cromosomas sexuales citomorfologicamente diferenciados  lo cual esta completamente conforme con la hipotesis que galan propone para explicar sus experimentos de nibridacion con ambas subespecies (una serie multiple de 3 aldes  ad  a+ y ad de modo que a los genotipos ada+ y adad le corresponde el genotipo madio  al a+a+ y a+ad el fenotipo androgico y al adad el fenotipo hembra)  pero este mismo resultado no esta en absoluto de acuerdo con la hipotesis que wastergaarol propone para estos mismos resultados  ya que supone 2 pares distintos de genes  situados sobre supuestos diferenciales de presuntos cromosomas
