Esta nueva teoria se basa en un estudio critico interdisciplinar desde la hermeneutica  la linguistica y el psicoanalisis contemporaneo centrandose en la obra de s. Freud  como representante significativo de esta teoria. El analisis historico sistematico de la obra de freud proporciona un paradigno valido para sostener dicha tesis.  la problematica del simbolo determina el desarrollo de la obra de freud tanto como los hallazgos psicoanaliticos determinan el planteamiento actual del problema del simbolismo.
