Cuando la dosis de potasio son mas bajas el efecto del nitrogeno en el crecimiento vegetativo  en la produccion y en la calidad del fruto es negativo. El efecto del potasio es positivo en particular cuando la dosis de nitrogeno es mas elevada. Los requerimientos de potasio en el medio nutritivo aumentan con las dosis de nitrogeno. La razon n\/k en el medio no ha de ser superior a 6 y los valores optimos en la planta estan alrededor de 7 en el limbo  de 1.5 en el peciolo y de 5 en la raiz. Los valores mas bajos de nitrogeno soluble durante la floracion coinciden con las producciones mas elevadas. La influencia del potasio en la calidad del fruto se aprecia en el incremento de acidez valorable  en el contenido de azucares totales y en el de vitamina c.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
