Esta tecnica se utiliza inicialmente en el area experimental  con resultados satisfactorios y finalmente se incluye el analisis critico de un grupo de ciento ochenta y un pacientes sometidos a esta tecnica  demostrandose unos resultados excelentes por su baja mortalidad y morbilidad-especialmente baja incidencia de fenomenos tromboembolicos-asi como por la estabilidad del metodo a los tres
