Se demuestra que si los volumenes de las bolas geodesicas asociadas a una conexion metrica y a la conexion de levi-civita definidas sobre la misma variedad nemanniana son iguales entonces las geodesicas asociadas a ambas conexiones son las mismas. Se aplican estos resultados a las variedades casi-hermiticas y a las paralelizables. Asi  se demuestra que una variedad casi-hermitica con la misma funcion volumen de una variedad nearly-kachler es nearly-kachler.  se da una clasificacion de las variedades casi-hermiticas respecto de
