En la investigacion que se recoge en esta memoria  se ha estudiado la oxidacion cromica de los acidos malonico y succinico  en medios acidos muy fuertes. El objetivo de la misma fue  desde un principio  estudiar a fondo  el papel de la acidez del medio en el mecanismo de estas reacciones. Los resultados obtenidos prueban que ese objetivo se ha alcanzado plenamente. Tambien  se ha abordado el estudio de la catalisis de distintos iones metalicos sobre la reaccion alcanzandose informacion muy interesante sobre el mecanismo de la reaccion
