Los eteres arilalilicos conducen a los fenoles alquilados en posicion orto acompa\u00f1addos o no de productos resultantes de reducciones posteriores. Los eteres bencilfenilicos originan ademas de los fenoles o-sustituidos fenoles e hidrocarburos resultantes de la alfa-fision del eter en un proceso concertado. Cuando el reactivo empleado es cloruro de dietilaluminio se obtienen productos de sustitucion electrofila incluso con eteres que permanecen inalterados cuando se enfrentan a
