Las reacciones con triisobutilaluminio transcurren con alquilacion y reduccion del substrato y conducen a alcoholes primarios y secundarios  el trietilaluminio da lugar a alcoholes terciarios a traves de dos procesos sucesivos de alquilacion. El compuesto d  con trietilaluminio experimenta una adicion 1 4 y conduce al alquildiester. Primero el ester se transforma en el aldehido o cetona respectiva y despues en alcohol mediante adicion nucleofila al grupo carbonilo de un ion hidruro o un carbanion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
