Considerando el postulado de pauling, la caracterizacion del mecanismo de reaccion de un enzima pasa por una discusion completa de la composicion, estereoquimica, estructura electronica y energia relativa del estado de transicion. Si conseguimos conocer la estructura del estado de transicion de una reaccion catalizada enzimaticamente estaremos en una posicion privilegiada para controlarla.  en concreto, la presente tesis doctoral aborda el estudio teorico de los mecanismos moleculares de los siguientes sistemas enzimaticos:  a) biotina o vitamina h, b) ldh, c) pqq, y d) dhfr. Hemos calculado efectos isotopico cineticos teoricos que nos han permitido comparar nuestros resultados con medidas experimentales y reformular el postulado de pauling.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
