El principal objetivo de esta tesis es estudiar el potencial del acoplamiento cl-cl, para el analisis de residuos de herbicidas polares seleccionados (fenoxiacidos, glufosinato, glifosato y el principal metabolito de este ultimo, ampa). La aplicacion de un procedimiento con acoplamiento cl-cl presenta muchas ventajas, como menor tiempo de analisis, menor manipulacion de muestra, menor uso de disolventes organicos, mayor selectividad y sensibilidad y automatizacion del proceso de purificacion.  se han desarrollado procedimientos para la determinacion de ocho herbicidas fenoxiacidos combinando dos procedimientos de efs \u00aboff-line\u00bb con acoplamiento cl-cl mediante una precolumna rellena de isrp y una segunda columna de fase reversa c18. Asimismo, tambien se han desarrollado procedimientos para la determinacion de glufosinato, glofosato y ampa mediante prederivatizacion con fmoc y acoplamiento cl-cl con columna de fase reversa c18 y columna amino con deteccion fluorescente.
