Este sistema es de facil manejo y logra  mediante un sintetizador comercial de vhf y dos redes de fijacion de fase armonicas heterodinas  hacer coherente el oscilador local  a unos 100 ghz  con un patron de 10 mhz. Se estabilizan diversos selystrons y un oscilador a diodo impatt. Se estudia teoricamente la influencia del ruido de fase del oscilador local estabilizado sobre la resolucion espectral del receptor introduciendose el concepto de respuesta del filtro equivalente un
