Por otra parte, se estudian los principales criterios de caracter general y transferible orientadores de estrategias que faciliten esta transicion. En tercer lugar, se realiza una propuesta de intervencion que permita ejemplificar algunos de los criterios derivados del analisis teorico; esta propuesta de intervencion consiste en el dise\u00f1o y experimentacion cuasiexperimental de un programa dirigido a potenciar las habilidades perceptivo-motrices de adolescentes y adultos con disminucion psiquica. En el marco teorico se realiza un estudio bibliografico dirigido a diversas lineas que comprenden el estudio de las nuevas tendencias actuales en la definicion y sistema de clasificacion de la deficiencia mental; la revision de las tendencias internacionales respecto algunos aspectos fundamentales de la transicion; el estudio de los enfoques formativos dirigidos a preparar las personales con disminucion para la vida adulta. Esta informacion se complementa y contrasta con las manifestaciones, vivencias y expectativas de seis personas con disminucion que estan viviendo la transicion (estudio de
