De los resultados obtenidos parece deducirse un estimulo de la sintesis de clorofilas debido a los iones na. El ion li inhibe la sintesis de adn y arn en hojas y raices mientras que el na posee un claro efecto inhibitorio sobre la formacion de adn en las raices. En las hojas los iones rb y cs inhiben proporcionalmente mas la sintesis de arn que la de adn  y en las raices los iones na y rb inhiben proporcionalmente mas la sintesis de adn que la de arn. Asimismo  los niveles de canferol aumentan por la presencia de los iones ensayados; la sintesis de quercetina se inhibe por accion del na y li que contrariamente  estimulan la formacion de apigenina.
