El autor en la primera parte dialoga polemicamente con algunos de los mas importantes representantes de la postura epistemologica negativa (escepticismo antiguo  xant  dilthey  n. Hartmann y ayer) y trata de evidenciar la tesis de la existencia de la verdad -sea ella la que sea- que  aunque negada por ellos no solo es admitida por ellos  sino que posibilita su propia negacion. En la 2 parte  sentada esta evidencia fundamental se aborda el tema de la actitud filosofica adecuada o exigida por ella  la atentividad  que luego se diferencia criticamente de la duda metodica de descartes y de la epoche de husserl.
