La administracion de triptofano produce una inhibicion selectiva de la capacidad gluconeogenica hepatica ya que como hemos comprobado los niveles de acido quinolinico son suficientes solamente en higado pero no en corteza renal para inhibir la pepck. Cuando se inhibe la capacidad gluconeogenica del higado hemos observado un incremento de la capacidad gluconeogenica del higado.  hemos observado un incremento de la capacidad gluconeogenica de la corteza renal  probablemente debida al bloqueo de la funcion glucostatica del higado. En estas condiciones  la produccion de glucosa por la corteza renal parece ser decisiva en el mantenimiento de la glucemia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
