Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El genero streptomyces ofrece un enorme interes  debido a su elevado grado de complejidad y a su importancia industrial  derivada de la produccion de antibioticos. La recombinacion a traves de fusion de protoplastos abre nuevos caminos a la mejora de cepas de interes industrial. En este trabajo se determino  en primer lugar el metodo de obtencion de protoplastos y se analizo su morfolog\u00eda y su fisiolog\u00eda. Seguidamente  como la fusion tiene lugar entre protoplastos de cepas marcadas geneticamente y  como la recuperacion de los recombinantes exige la regeneracion de la pared celular se establecio  por un lado  el metodo de reversion y  por otro  se obtuvieron mutantes auxotrofos y mutantes defectivos en micelio aereo  a partir de la cepa normal.  finalmente se realizo la fusion entre protoplastos de cepas auxotrofas para distintas marcas geneticas.
