Determinada la estructura analitica por unitariedad  las relaciones de dispersion a energia fija nos dicen que su parte no analitica esta dada por el corte en el canal t. La parte absortiva se determina por amplitudes compton. El resultado basico es un teorema para las amplitudes de helicidad  determinadas por la carga y las polarizabilidades electromagneticas del hadron. Se ha aplicado a secciones diferenciales de muones positivos y negativos sobre helio-4. La asimetria es de unos pocos por mil.
