Se analizan los fenomenos de superficie en interfacies liquido-gas  con aportaciones originales sobre la variacion de la tension superficial con la curvatura; influencia sobre la presion de vapor de equilibrio  para una succion dada  de un componente gaseoso diferente; variacion de la succion con el grado de saturacion  para humedad constante; etc. Se estudia la no oclusion de la fase gaseosa al aumentar el grado de saturacion. Se estudia teorica y experimentalmente la consolidacion estando cerca o lejos de la saturacion analizando la influencia de la humedad  presion de preconsolidacion  y trayectoria de carga en las curvas de consolidacion  y en la relacion tanto por ciento de consolidacion-tanto por ciento de tiempo total de consolidacion.
