El modelo se contrasta con dos casos  reales  presa de venemo  de pantalla aguas arriba  y presa del infiernillo  de nucleo central  mostrando su adecuacion a este tipo de analisis ante la calidad de los resultados obtenidos. Por otro lado  se obtienen en forma adimensional las tensiones y deformaciones al final de construccion en presas de nucleo central  variando la geometria del estribo y las caracteristicas elasticas de nucleo y espaldones. La inclinacion del estribo  el coeficiente de poisson del nucleo y la relacion entre los modulos de elasticidad de nucleo y espaldones son los factores mas relevantes cara al agrietamiento del
