Los efectos de los distintos adatomos dependen de las interacciones entre estos y la molecula que se quiere oxidar. Asi, para el metanol, la velocidad de oxidacion depende de la estructura superficial del electrodo y de los aniones presentes en disolucion. Para el acido formico, la reaccion de formacion del intermedio venenoso se inhibe fuertemente por la presencia de bi, as y te sobre el electrodo de pt(111), mientras que para el resto de los adatomos y electrodos estudiados la inhibicion es por un mecanismo de tercer cuerpo. Por ultimo, la catalisis de la oxidacion del co requiere que el adatomo se encuentre en su forma oxidada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Adsorcion y
