Para ello se ha utilizado el ri\u00f1on aislado y perfundido de rata como metodo de trabajo. El estudio de los distintos receptores se ha realizado comparando el efecto de los distintos agonistas y antagonistas especificos para cada uno de ellos. En la presente tesis se ha encontrado: 1%. Que el receptor beta-adreneagico que media la secrecion de renina pertenece al sub-tipo beta-1 de la clasificacion de lands. 2%. Que la dopamina incrementa la secrecion de renina a traves del receptor beta-adrenergico y no a traves de receptores especificos dopaminergicos y 3%. Que los agonistas h1 y h2 histaminergicos estimulan la secrecion de renina y dicha estimulacion es inhibida tanto por los antagonistas especificos histaminergicos tridelenamina y cimetidina  como por el beta-bloqueante propanolol.
