La ferredoxin-tiorredoxina reductasa es un enzima funcional en regulacion enzimatica en fotosintesis. Asimismo se presenta el hallazgo e identificacion en cloroplastos de espinaca y en la cianobacteria nostoc muscorum de una nueva ferrosulfo proteina que representa un mecanismo alternativo en fotorregulacion enzimatica y a la que se ha dado el nombre de ferralterina. Se describe su purificacion y caracterizacion en ambos origenes y se estudia la operatividad de ambos sistemas (ferredoxin-tiorredoxina reductasa y ferralterina) en la fotoactivacion de la fructosa 1
