En la aproximacion metrica que se ofrece aqui podemos dar una explicacion coherente al hecho de que el acento primario no aparezca mas alla de la antepenultima vocal en la palabra espa\u00f1ola. Tambien podemos explicar las restricciones cuantitativas que tiene el acento esdrujulo en sus dos ultimas silabas. Una aproximacion metrica nos permite ademas incorporar de una forma homogenea las observaciones hechas anteriormente respecto al acento morfologico y al no morfologico del
