En primer lugar, se ha realizado la oxidacion anodica de bencenos dialquilados con grupos voluminosos, como son:  p-terc-butiltolueno, p-di-iso-propilbenceno y p-di-terc-butilbenceno.  en segundo lugar, se ha llevado a cabo la oxidacion anodica de una serie de naftalenos sustituidos, como son:  l-metilnaftaleno; 2-metilnaftaleno, 1,3-dimetilnaftaleno, 1,4-dimetilnaftaleno, 1,5-dimetilnaftaleno, 2,6- dimetilnaftaleno y 2, 3, 5-trimetilnaftaleno. Por ultimo se ha estudiado la metoxilacion anodica del 9-metilantraceno.  se han obtenido compuestos de adicion nuclear del tipo ciclohexa-1,4-dieno y ciclohexa-2,5-dienona, excepto en el caso del p-di-iso-propilbenceno, donde solamente se obtienen compuestos de sustitucion en la cadena lateral.  se han propuesto varias secuencias mecanisticas que permiten explicar la formacion de los
