Xvii. Nace del entremes al independizarse de este y ocupar uno de los intermedios de la comedia. Semejante en funcion a los demas generos menores tiene como caracteristica fundamental el caminar hacia las mudanzas  por eso su integrante mas importante es el bailado. Genero mas breve que el entremes (80 a 160 versos)  emplea el romance y la seguidilla de forma casi exclusiva. Su finalidad es entretener y divertir; para ello se vale  sobre todo  de lo comico linguistico. El gracioso descuella sobre los demas personajes  entes indeterminados   hechos para &#8230;  y es el productor de lo comico: todo esta subordinado al so  hasta el tema fundamental: el amor. El baile llega a la cumbre con qui\u00f1ones.
