Estos tienen una gran aplicabilidad y su uso se hace extrictamente necesario en una amplia variedad de sectores industriales. Los tensioactivos de origen biologico, o biotensioactivos, presentan la ventaja de ser biodegradables y de baja toxicidad asi como la posibilidad de ser controlada su actividad mediante sistemas enzimaticos. En este trabajo se demuestra la produccion de biotensioactivos por el hongo cladosporium resinae mediante la medida de las propiedades tensioactivas de la fase acuosa de los cultivos crecidos y de la espuma colapsada extraida de estos. Asi mismo, se ha desarrollado un metodo de purificacion de los biotensioactivos mediante tecnicas cromatograficas por columnas de extraccion solido-liquido sobre soporte de fase reversa octadecilo (c18). Estos compuestos han sido caracterizados quimicamente, obteniendose su estructura molecular detallada, mediante tecnicas espectroscopicas (espectrometria de masas, espectroscopia de resonancia magnetica nuclear, y espectrometria infrarroja).
