Se confirman las hipotesis previas segun las cuales el protectorado y el subsiguiente estatuto internacional de tanger determinaron la desaparicion de las dos variantes del castellano utilizadas con anterioridad en la urbe: el  castellano tangerino antiguo y el  hakitia   y supuso el nacimiento de nuevas variantes del castellano y del frances que desaparecieron con la declaracion de independencia de marruecos.
