Un estudio detallado de la apertura del anillo de oxirano con diferentes azoles ha permitido determinar cuales son los factores que afectan a la regioselectividad de esta reaccion. Como consecuencia de este estudio se han podido obtener selectivamente tanto arabino- como xilo-nucleosidos. Estos compuestos se han transformado en 5-hidroximetiluracilos, 2,6- o 3,6 -ciclonucleosidos, en acidos barbituricos y en uridinas que ademas del azolilo incorporan un grupo azida.  en la segunda parte se ha desarrollado una nueva metodolog\u00eda para la preparacion de nucleosidos n-alquilados, n-aminados o marcados con 15n.  para ello se han nitrado diferentes uridinas, timidinas e inosinas con trifluoroacetato de nitroilo y los derivados n-nitrados obtenidos se han tratado con alquilaminas, hidrazinas o 15nh3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
