A 42 grados c  las celulas de ov-25 no estan afectadas en su aumento en masa  en particulas y en dna. La longitud celular total tambien aumenta  aunque lo hace a una velocidad menor que los parametros anteriores. La longitud celular media y el volumen son  a 42 grados c menores que a30 grados c  al contrario de lo que se esperaria de una mayor velocidad de crecimiento. Se observa un aumento del contenido proteico\/celula  de la densidad celular media y una disminucion de la viabilidad cuando se cultiva ov-25 a la temperatura restrictiva. La conducta de las celulas de ov-25 en ausencia del producto del gen wee se puede interpretar como una regulacion defectuosa de la elongacion o bien como una falta de coordinacion entre elongacion y division. El gen wee se localiza en el minuto 84.8 del mapa de e. Coli; hemos construido vectores transductores por el alelo salvaje del en wee  wee+  que permitiran adentrarnos en la biolog\u00eda molecular de la elongacion celular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
