La proteina map1 no parece estar implicada en la polimerizacion de los microtubulos. La proteina map1 se asocia in vitro a los filamentos intermedios y tiene o lleva asociada una actividad atpasa. La proteina map2 parece interaccionar preferencialmente con secuencias repetidas map2 que se encuentran distribuidas a lo largo del genoma. Las proteinas cromosomales no afectan a la interaccion de la proteina map2 con el dna. Esto nos permite postular que la interaccion microtubulo- cromosoma podria tener lugar por medio de la union directa de la proteina map2 a ciertas secuencias de dna.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
