Intimamente relacionados con la naturaleza cristalina del mineral constituyente de la bentonita  y en la interpretacion de la validez de los datos que aportan los ensayos de hinchabilidad  volumen de sedimentacion  limite liquido  caracteristico del caracter aglutinante de las bentonitas  ademas de los ensayos de resistencia a la compresion en verde y seco resistencia a la traccion en la zona de condensacion compactabilidad  que nos permite valorar el comportamiento de la mezcla arena-bentonia-agua.
