Se han purificado los cuatro componentes mayoritarios del grupo  que se han caracterizado parcialmente. Sus pesos moleculares oscilan en el intervalo 16000-19000  inferior al de las gliadinas clasicas. Sus analisis de aminoacidos revelan una composicion tipica de prolaminas  aunque con un mayor contenido en metionina y cisteina. Los resultados sobre asignacion cromosomica muestran que las gliadinas de bajo peso molecular estan controladas por los cromosomas 7a 4b y 7d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
