Estos ultimos al reaccionar en cloroformo  con malononitrilo y aminas secundarias (pirrolidina  piperidina y dietilamina) condujeron a una mezcla de 2-dialquilamonio-6-amino-4-aril-3 5-dicianopiridinas y sales del dialquilamonio de las 2-amino-4-aril-3 5-diciano-2-dicianometilpiridinas.  dichas sales  que se obtuvieron con rendimiento mas elevado por reaccion de los mismos alfa-cianocinamonitrilos el dimero del malononitrilo y la correspondiente amina  se fotolizan en alcohol a las correspondientes 2-alcoxicarbonil-6-amino-4-aril-3 5-dicianopiridinas con elevado
