Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se han estudiado las propiedades de enteropatogenicidad de 27 cepas de escherichia coli aisladas de procesos diarreicos en nuestro pais. Asi mismo hemos analizado tres plasmidos enterotoxicos dos de origen humano y uno de origen animal diferentes. El marcado genetico con los trasposones tn 802 o tn1 que especifican resistencia a carbemicilina permitio el aislamiento y posterior estudio genetico y molecular de los plasmidos enterotoxicos. La region lt (que codifica para la enterotoxina termolabil) y probablemente la region st (que codifica para la enterotoxina termostable) no tienen estructuras semejantesen todos las plasmidos enterotoxicos. Los plasmidos tp214 y psu868 de origen humano presentan un 80% de homolog\u00eda en la region lt-b con el resto de los plasmidos enterotoxicos conocidos  si bien  el plasmido ent de la cepa de origenporcino pi55 presenta en esta region una homolog\u00eda inferior al 70%.
