En medio amoso perclorico se estudia la catalisis ejercida por el formalheido y acetaldehido sobre la nitrosacion por acido nitroso de dimetilamina; se postula un mecanismo de reaccion que implica la nitrosacion por no y n sub 2 o sub 3 de las carbrisolaminas respectivas productos de la reaccion amina-aldehida.  en medios neutro y ligeramente basico se estudia la catalisis ejercida por el formaldehido sobre la nitrosacion de dimetilamina  dietildemina y morfolina  y por el cloral sobre la de dma; se postula un mecanismo que implica la nitrosacion por ion cutrito no sub 2 de un ion
