Tras una introduccion general       viene una primera parte que contiene una aproximacion historica al dialecto  una historia de la actividad y reflexion dialectologicas  en la que predomina la vision analitica sobre la narrativa y que sirve de contexto para la parte nuclear -la segunda- o aproximacion sistematica. En esta  el objetivo no es tanto la definicion del concepto de dialecto cuanto la formalizacion de los hechos de diferenciacion linguistica. Inexistencia de una oposicion estrictamente cientifica de lengua y dialecto; ampliacion de este ultimo a las esferas temporal  social y estilistica; analisis de los valores del termino    etc.  Son
