A ph menor que 2 4 no se produce cambio h+\/na+. El fosfatoamorfo se  hidroliza extensamente por adicion de naoh disminuyendo apreciablemente su capacidad de cambio real- del fosfato cristalino ti(hpou)2 .H2o (l-tp) se determinan las fases de cambio presentes para el proceso h+\/na+ por difraccion de r.X. Aislandose la fase de cambio total ti(napo4)2.H2o calculandose sus parametros de red- de las isotermas de cambio a 25  40 y 55 grados centigrados  corregidas por la hidrolisis del cambiador y bajo la retencion de na+ del tio2  4h2o  se obtienen las constantes pseudotermodinamicas del cambio.
