No era posible realizar este objeto sin analizar detenidamente y asi se ha hech o  las diversas piezas que integraban la administracion municipal salmantina; en este sentido  se ha prestado una atencion prioritaria al regimiento o conjunto de regidores por considerarlo la clave de boveda de este complejo institucional. En el terreno de las atribuciones del municipio se han tratado concienzudamente las referentes a la ordenacion de mercados y abastecimientos asi como la hacienda concejil.
