Se determina mediante el metodo de caracteristicas el campo tensional  asi como el campo de velocidades asociado cinematicamente y plasticamente compatible y la extension tensional a las zonas rigidas cuando ha sido posible. El modelo se contrasta con soluciones ya existentes. Se analizan una serie de terraplenes ya reales llevados a rotura estableciendose diversas conclusiones y proporcionando una metodolog\u00eda de trabajo en tal sentido a traves de formulas de interpretacion de ensayos convencionales.
