En la 1 (margen y contexto) se relaciona su proceso creativo con el desarrollo y crisis del neorrealismo  se contemplan sus actividades como guionista con pietro germi  alberto lattuanda y roberto rosellini. En la 2 (defensa y milagro) se analizan todos los componentes tematicos de su cine y sus desarrollos. En la 3 (la visualidad absoluta del arte total) se hace el estudio especificamente filmico de su imagen  se estudia su evolucion creadora  su obsesion por la totalidad artificial; se hacen analisis de escenas y secuencias y se analiza su estructuracion narrativa. En la 4 seccion (el taller de fellini) se hace un estudio de los mas importantes artistas colaboradores que han trabajado con el realizador a lo largo de su obra.
