Xiii al xix. Se parte de una introduccion historico geografica  se analiza la legislacion general sobre plateria espa\u00f1ola  se estudian los problemas sociales y laborales y los precios y pesos de las obras de plata. Se catalogan mas de 800 piezas de catedral  conventos  parroquias y ermitas. Se saca a la luz una nomina de 278 plateros que trabajaron en talleres de la diocesis o de la region extreme\u00f1a. Se aporta un catalogo de 460 punzones correspondientes a ciudades espa\u00f1olas  europeas y americanas. Se incluye la evolucion tipologica  estructural y decorativa de la orfebreria diocesana a lo largo de los distintos periodos artisticos haciendo hincapie en el estudio de los talleres diocesanos y en las importanciones.
