Se ha estudiado la evolucion de las especies resultantes de la interaccion inicial entre los precursores metalicos y el soporte y se han caracterizado mediante diversas tecnicas de estado solido (xrd, tem, edx, hrem, ed y xps) las correspondientes fases metalicas soportadas que se han ido definiendo por un proceso de reduccion con hidrogeno. Se ha estudiado la interaccion entre los catalizadores y distintos absorbatos mediante espectroscopia (ftir\u00bbinsitu\u00bb). Con estos catalizadores se ha conseguido activar cataliticamente en fase heterogenea la molecula de co2 y hacerla reaccionar con una mondolefina para originar productos de interes con nuevos enlaces c-c. Gracias a la sintesis controlada de los catalizadores y a la caracterizacion completa de los sistemas metalicos resultantes se ha podido discernir la identidad de la fase activa en la reaccion
