Para ello se introduce previamente una tecnica de aproximacion  que permite describir la caracteristica multidimensional de dichas redes en una forma canonica global y con requerimientos de continuidad predeterminados. Se tiene asi una serie de funciones uniformes llamadas seccionales. Se desarrolla un metodo de sintesis de redes resistivas n-puertas representadas por una caracteristica hibrida que pertenece a este tipo de funciones aproximantes.
