El estudio morfometrico demuestra la existencia de un incremento en el volumen mitocondrial de aproximadamente 2 7 veces su valor inicial  no observandose una clara alteracion en su configuracion. Las moleculas de dna mitocondrial del linfocito trnsformado peseen una longitud (4 72+-0 13 micrometros) significativamente inferior a la del linfocito en reposo (5 17+-0 03 micrometros) observandose ademas la presencia de aproximadamente un 12% de moleculas complejas. El estudio encimatico (mao sdh  gdh  mdh) realizado en el homogenado mitocondrial demuestra la existencia  en el linfocito transformado  de una modificacion en la composicion de su membrana interna
