Como sustancias obtenidas en menor proporcion pueden citarse: a) hidroxieteres etilicos o isobutilicos univocos o mezclas de ambos posibles isomeros  b)alquilmonofenoles tambien univocos o mezclas de los dos isomeros c)alquil-1 2-difenoles o alquil-o-quinonas  d)compuestos parcialmente aromaticos  resultantes de reduccion-1 2 y de alquilacion-1 2 de cada uno de los grupos oxo. En las reacciones de o-quinonas con trifenilaluminio  junto a los 1 2-difenoles correspondientes y sus hidroxieteres se obtienen  -hidroxicetonas  1 2-dialcoholes y compuestos con esqueleto dimero  ademas de bifenilo.  desde el punto de vista mecanistico  las transformaciones de o-quinonas en presencia de trialquilaluminios transcurren por mecanismos ionicos  mientras que frente a
