Se analizan los sistemas de proteccion utilizados convencionalmente y los de accion ultrarrapida desarrollados hasta el presente. Se propone un sistema nuevo basado en el cortocircuitado de los extremos del cable mediante dispositivos de estado solido activados por elcortocircuito de dos pantallas detectoras que rodean los conductores activos del cable evitandose asi el cortocircuito de dichos conductores cuando el cable resulta da\u00f1ado por efecto de cuerpos rapidamente penetrantes (costeros  etc) y los efectos de dicho cortocircuito de dichos conductores cuando el cable resulta da\u00f1ado por efecto de cuerpos rapidamente penetrantes (costeros  etc) y los efectos de dicho cortocircuito; se estudia el regimen
