Raquel De <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha efectuado un estudio teorico experimental  con tres sustratos organicos distintos  que permite analizar  en el proceso de lodos activos: 1) la variacion que se produce en los parametros cineticos del proceso  cuando se aplican dos hipotesis distintas sobre la fuente de energia de mantenimiento de los microorganismos  la de pirt y la de herbert  y la influencia de considerar o no la existencia de una fraccion viva de microorganismos  y 2) la influencia que esto tiene en la prediccion del comportamiento dinamico del sistema. Se ha comprobado que es muy importante considerar la existencia de una fraccion viva.
