Dicho modelo es el mas simple que se puede formar a partir de los campos de velocidad  concentracion y temperatura y sus primeras desviaciones no lineales. La importancia del esquema estriba en que cualquier sistema inmerso en un ba\u00f1o que actua por bloques y con relaciones cruzadas del tipo propuesto por onsager  obedece  en primera aproximacion a un esquema similar. Asi cabe usarlo para describir no solo el caso de un fluido bicomponente; un sistema laser con un absorbente saturable  el problema termohalino  un giroscopo sometido a una fuerza exterior y a una
