Dentro de estos fenomenos  dos tipos ofrecen particular interes: los de conveccion termica y los ligados a la transicion de freederickz (estos ultimos para cristales liquidos nematicos). Se ha puesto en evidencia la posibilidad de encontrar estructuras periodicas para el caso de una capa de nematico no acotada sometida a un campo magnetico. Ello permite predecir la existencia de efectos dinamicos organizados para capas de nematicos suficientemente grandes como para que el efecto de los contornos sea despreciable  sin atender a la geometria de la orientacion molecular.  tambien se ha desarrollado un modelo teorico simple para el problema de benard-marangoni.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
